This is one of my favorite traditions in Pocahontas! Every year we pray for our schools together with other churches in the community. We need prayer this year more than ever! We drive to each school in Pocahontas to pray for their students, teachers, administrators, and school year. Our route begins at 6:00PM St. Paul’s Catholic School and ends at a local homeschool home. This year we will change the format in order to keep families safe as we gather for prayer. FBC Parents will need to drive with us to each location. Using our FM transmitter on 98.7fm, we will open prayer, pause for a few minutes so families can pray together, and then close in prayer. We will then drive to the next school on our route. The church van will not be available this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to pray together as a family. Carlene and I will have Chloe Jean with us. I’m looking forward to walking her through family prayers and helping her to find the words to pray for our community! Please invite others to this community event.
